Rtd Elder Sarah Wairimu Kangi

1923 – 2019

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rtd Elder and Teacher Sarah Wairimu Kangi, wife of the late Meshack Kangi Karimi of Kiangai village, Kirinyaga County.

She was mother of Anne Gachua, Margaret Kirimi, Karimi Kange, Elizabeth Muturi, Catherine .Kang’ethe, Mary Kange and Mathenge Kange. Mother in law to the late Stephen Gachua, Gerrishon Ikiara, Margaret Karimi, Ephraim Muturi, Ronald Kang’ethe & Agnes Mathenge.

Sister to late Munyua Mathenge, late Kabukuru Mathenge, Elizabeth Gacheche, late Bilha Muchangi, late Isaiah Mathenge, late Miriam lchangi, Njogu Mathenge, late Mary Waruingi, late Simon Nyaga, Anna Ngure, late Marathi Mathenge and late Gathoni Mwaura.

She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at St. Andrews PCEA Church Nairobi from 13/ 08/2019 to 15/08/2019 at 5:30 pm and daily at her home in Kiangai, Kirinyaga County.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home in Kabati, along Nairobi-Nyeri highway opposite Shell petrol station on Tuesday, 20th August 2019 at 8:30am for the funeral service at PCEA Kiangai Church Kirinyaga County at 11am and thereafter she will be buried at her home.
