It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Florence Chepkor Ohanga (Kabon).
She was the firstborn child of the late Peter-Chepkor (Kap Latboni) and the late Eileen Sore Chepkor of Kabarnet, Baringo County.
She was the beloved wife of the late Apollo Ohanga of Kakamega and a devoted mother of the late Emmy Cheruto Ohanga, Mercy Chepkernboi (Mosoriot ITC), Jackline Sitienei (Moi University), Linda Koech (USA), George Kiplagat (Old Mutual Group), Christine Cherop Ohanga (MTRH), Geofferry Opiyo, Thomas Mbanda (USA), James Kiptoo (Australia), and Apelles Chepkosgei Ohanga (Finland).
She was sister of Grace Rono, the late Pauline, the late Michael. the late Gideon, and Washington Chesang’.
Mother in law of late Henry, Stephen, Dr Sitienei, Ben, Pauline, late Johnson, Winnie and Norman.
She was a cherished grandmother of Peter, Ohanga (Kabon) Marvin, Mitchelle, Cynthia, lddah, William, Noelle, Christabel, Gloria, Jolene, Jebiwot, Michael, Mathew, Emma, Lewis, Precious, Dakota, Patience, Kim, David,Thomas, Samantha, Levi, Kalya,Amanda,Amelia,Amasha, and a proud great-grandmother of four.
Funeral arrangements are underway and meetings are being held daily at her home in Ngobitwo Village, Soi.
The cortege will leave MTRH Eldoret on Thursday 15th May 2025, with the burial scheduled for Friday 16th May 2025 in Ngobitwo Village.
