Florence Wanjiru Richu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved mum Florence Wanjiru Richu of Embakasi Ranching Company which occurred at meridian Hospital Nairobi on 16.1.2020 after a long illness.

She was the daughter to Late Richt, Mbuthia and the late Margaret Wangaru. Sister to the late Ann Wangui Gathata, step sister to Muchai Richu, the late Joseph mbugua, the late Richard Mboche, the late Mary Wachuka Maikweki, the late Leah Mweru and the late Wanjiru Kaniu. Sister in law to Zipphora Wachuka Mboche, Mary Njeri Mbugua, Agnes Njoki Muchai. Mother to Margaret Wanjiku, Ann Wangui, Samwel Richu and Richard Mbugua. Mother in Law to Murithi Kahiga, Nancy Muthoni and Patricia Kasiva.

Grandmother to Mitchell, Mirriam, George, Mercy, Florence, Eugene, Daniel and Wanjiru. Great grandmother to Karrisa Maye. Aunt to Johnson Mboche (Kitale), Mary Wanja, John Richu (Limuru), Mugo Maikweki, Patrick Karau,Wangari Wahwai, Hanna Wanjiru Muchai (TSC), Christine Mweru (TSC), Francis Richu (Ngong), Grace Wanjiru Kinyanjui, lssac Wainana, Muchendu (Gachie) among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Ruai, Mutalia and Kimende.

The cortege will leave KU mortuary on Friday, 24.1.2020, burial will take place at her home in Kimende -Lari on the same day.
