It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Grace Wangari Maringa which occurred on 18/1/2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

Wife of the late Ben Richard Maringa. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Titus Ngugi Mbaka. Daughter-in-law of the late Richard Maringa and Gladys Wambui. Beloved mother of the late Collins Njoroge, the late Mercy Wambui, Eunice Waithera, Nancy Wanjiru and Jane Njeri. Mother in law of Eva Wanjiru, Gideon Macharia, Joseph Mann and Dan Mengo. Grandmother of Brenda Wangari, Leon Kamau, Becky Muthoni, Grace Wangari, Ian Mwangi, Mercy Wambui, Neema Wangari, Rehema Wambui and Talyah Daniels. Great grandmother of Troy Njoroge.

Sister of Daniel Njoroge, Judy Wanjiru Ngugi, Jane Njeri, Joyce Wanjiku Keige, Peter Kiarie and Margaret Wambui Ndegwa. Sister-in-law of Esther Njeri, Nancy Wanjiru, Mercy Muthoni, Richard Mwangi, Elizabeth Wamuyu and the late Lucy Wanjiku. Aunty of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Outering Estate and at PCEA St. Andrew’s Church, Lecture Room 3, today and Friday 24-1-2020 for prayers.

The cortege leaves KU funeral home at 8.30am on Tuesday 28th January 2020 for burial at her matrimonial home Ndindiruku, Ngurubani Kirinyaga County.
