Francis Babu Ngigi

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Francis Babu Ngigi of Kidfarmaco estate Kikuyu, formerly of Absa Bank Kenya on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, at the Nairobi Hospital, after an illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Peter (Ibrahim) Ngigi Mbaratha and Florence Waruguru.

Beloved husband of Mrs. Rose Njoki Babu. Loving father of Eddah Waruguru Babu (Kingdom Bari, Linus Ngigi Babu (Strathmore University), and Elena Mutitu Babu (Loreto High School Limuru).

Brother of Margaret Wangari (Embu Shepherd Academy), Martin Muthee (Limuru), John Gichuki (Kimbimbi), Madam Felistas Fatuma Wanjiku (Embu Shepherd Academy), Pauline Wairimu Musonye (Ernbu), and Hannah Wambui (judiciary,Wang’uru).

Son-in-law of the late Angelus Kang’auro and Jane Mutitu Kang’auro. Brother-in-law of Judy, Kimathi, Muchangi, Njeri, Alfred and the late Kagendo and Martin.

Mr Francis Babu Ngigi had many nephews, nieces, colleagues and friends.

There will be a Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 10th September 2025, at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Kikuyu at 10:00 am.

The cortege will depart Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 11th September 2025 at 8.00am, proceed to St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Kikuyu for a funeral service at 11.00am, thereafter to his father’s home in Limuru for interment, 200 metres from the Limuru Law Courts.

We loved you Mr. Francis Babu Ngigi, but God loved you more, Praise be to God.
