Francis Gichiri Ndua (GN)

Born: 26th August, 1956 – Died: 21 st October 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Gichiri Ndua (GN) of Kiambu County after a short illness bravely borne.

Gichiri was the eldest child of the late Peter Ndua Gichiri and the late Elizabeth Njeri Ndua of Mutomo Village.

Until his death he was a Senior Consultant at Maritime Business & Economic Consultants Limited and a former Managing Director at Kenya Ports Authority.

Beloved husband of Catherine Warnuyu Gichiri and Son in Law of Isabella Muthoni and the late Arthur Kabugi, Cherished Father of Caroline Gichiri, Denis Ndua (KPA), Kabugi Arthur (KR.A). Muthoni Gichiri (USA) and Debora Gikeno.

He was a brother of Agnes Nuna, Teresia Nioki, James Gitau, the late George Wachira, the late John Thuo, Regina Murugi, Paul Ngugi, Magdalene Wambui and Monica Wanjeri.

Loving grandfather of Imani Njeri, Lee Gichiri, Levi Kaginibi and Luke Kamiti.

Father in Law to Dorcas Wairimu Kagimbi and a friend of many.

Family and friends will be meeting daily as from Monday 27 October 2025 at Nyali Springs Resorts and at his homes along Greenwood Drive, Nyali, Mombasa and Mokoveti Road East, Karengata, Nairobi from Thursday 23rd October 2025.

Memorial service will be on Tuesday, 28th October, 2025 at Holy Ghost Cathedral Mombasa at 9.00am. Burial will be on Thursday, 30th October, 2025 at Mutomo Village, Ngenda, Gatundu, Kiambu County.
