Francis Njeru Kirii

We wish to announce the demise of Mwalimu Francis Njeru Kirii Principal St. Mary’s Karumandi Secondary School, Kirinyaga. He hails from Thumaita East, Gichugu Kirinyaga.

Son of late John Kirii and justa Wamarwa.

Husband of Grace Njoki. He was loving father of Lina Nyawira, Susan Wairimu and Claire Nyakio.

Brother of Esther, Sammy, Wairimu, Mathenge, Lucy, Kariuki,Murigu, Mwaniki, late Speranza and late Kaboro.

He was grandfather of Mark and Leo.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers & burial preparation at his home in Mwea Wang’uru from 5:00 pm and at Mwaganjo Hotel Mwea from 7:00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Karira Mission Hospital Mortuary, Mwea on Tuesday the 3rd February, 2026 for the funeral service at Alamano Catholic Church, Waneuru at 11:30 am. Burial will follow thereafter at Thumaita Village family home, Gichugu.
