Fredrick Nganga Gitangu

1971 — 2025

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Fredrick Nganga Gitangu, which occurred on 7th May 2025.

Fredrick was the beloved son of Mr. John Mungai Gitangu and Mrs. Priscilla Namwatuni Gitangu (Munnatec) of Kiserian.

He was a loving brother of Silvia Wanjiru, Edward Sekento, Dr. Joyce Gitangu, and Eric Mburu.

He was a devoted husband of Dr. Mansa Semenya of Nashville, Tennessee, and a cherished father of Ogilvy.

Fredrick was also a beloved presence in the lives of many – as a cousin, uncle, in-law, mentor, neighbor, and friend.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Friday, 16th May 2025, at 8:00 a.m.A funeral service will follow at ACK Good Samaritan Church, Kiserian, starting at 10:00 a.m.

He will be laid to rest the same day at 1:00 p.m. at the family home on Kunde Drive, House Number 07.

We thank God for Fredrick’s life and for the time we were privileged to share with him.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. Amen.
