GEORGE HENRY ONYANGO SIDDONDO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of George Henry Onyango Siddondo – CEO, Homes & Abroad.

George was a loving and devoted husband to Edith Awando-Siddondo of Profit Acumen, and a caring father to Naya (Kianda School), Riki, Owen, and Gian (Strathmore School).

He was the beloved son of the late Brig. (Rtd) Frederick Adams Siddondo and Irene Siddondo of Umala Village, Sidindi Ward, Ugunja, Siaya County; and son-in-law to the late Fredrick Opar Awando and Ruth Amolo Awando of Nyakach K’Oguta.

Cherished brother to Sheila, Camilla, Ronald, Harold, Sharon, Beth, Evelyn, Anne, Lillian, Maxwell, Barbara, and Wat, and brother-in-law to Philip Awando, Elzeba Ochieng, the late Martha Awando, Jerry Awando, Janet Awando, Robert Mwangi, Julliet Opondo, and Nick Oduol.

He was a loving uncle to Zawadia, Crystal, Angel, Zuri, Aidan, Amor, Kerr, Akwe, Mboss, Hera (late), Rakinda, Siddondo Oduol, among others; and a dear nephew to Esther, the late Nyibule, Betty, Claris, Merab, Owino Tunya, Josephine, the late Juliana, Elizabeth, the late Patricia, the late Joseph, the late Peter, Paul, and Ghemmi, among others.

Cousin to the Wasongas, Ondieks, Owinos, Tunyas, Odundos, Olayos, Odimwahs, and Osogos, among many others.

A Fundraiser in support of the family is scheduled for Wednesday, 29th October 2025 at 5:30 p.m. Allamano Centre Auditorium, Consolata Shrine.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, 30th October 2025 at 12 noon St. Austin’s Catholic Church Lavington.

The body will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 7th November 2025 for Sidindi, where George will be laid to rest on Saturday, 8th November 2025 at the Siddondo home, Umala Village, Sidindi Ward, Ugunja, Siaya County.
