Gertrude Manga Saitaga

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gertrude Manga Saitaga, which occurred on the morning of Friday, 30th May 2025, following a short illness.

She was the beloved wife of Christopher Saitaga Tiampati. Mother of John Roinet Saitaga, Dorothy Naisingoi Saitaga and Scaver Lesalon Saitaga. She was the daughter of the late Beatrice Zilla Wakio. A daughter in law of the late John Roinet Tiampati and the late Dorothy Naisingoi Tiampati. Sister of Lucy Maganga, the late Dora Samba and Scaver Mbogo. Sister-in-law of Betty Senteu, Naini Mose, Kennedy Tiampati and Joan Pereruan. Niece of the late Sophie Manga Kitawi. Cousin of Archie Kitawi, the late George Munene, Eric Munene, Mercy Kitawi, the late Dora Kitawi, the late Stanley Kitawi and many more. A valued aunt, godmother, mentor and a 1 true friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers at All Saints Cathedral from Monday 2nd June – Wednesday, 4th June 2025 at 5:00pm.

A fundraiser will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday, 4th June at 5:00pm and a memorial mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Lang’ata on Thursday, 5th June 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home on Saturday, 7th June 2025 at 8:00 am, proceeding to her final resting place at her home in junction, Nairragie Enkare, Narok, where the burial service will begin at 10:00 am.
