Gladys Gathoni Karaba

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Gladys Gathoni Karaba.

Daughter of the late Karuguya Kibira and the late Tirindi Karuguya.

Beloved wife of the late Solomon Karaba Gichuru. Mother of the late Tabitha Nyaguthii, Jecinter Muthoni, Stephen Maina, the late Magdalene Wamuyu, the late Kirogo Kithinji, Alice Thuguri,the late Grace Njoki, Mercy Wanja Kaigi, the late Peter Ndiritu and Pastor Martha Kirigo Kithinji.

Sister of the late Janet Wamuyu Matu, the late Martha Kirigo Gachagua, the late Rigathi Kerugoya and Geoffrey Karuguya.

Mother in law of the late William Muhindo, Mary Nyawira Maina, Joseph Kinyua Mariga, John Kaigi Gichu and Philip Kithinji Nahashon.

Aunt of H.E Rigathi Gachagua, Pastor Florence Wangui Kariuki, the late H.E Ndiritu Gachagua, Jeniffer Nyamiru Kibuthu among others.

Grandmother of Susan Gathoni, Jane Nyawira, Mercy Maina, Joan Gathoni, Felix Mariga, Boniface Mwangi, Watson Gichu, Ezra Muchui among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Inono village, Sagana Scheme, from 4.00 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Saturday 5th July 2025 at 8:00 a.m for funeral service at her home in Inono village, Sagana Scheme, Nyeri County. The burial will follow thereafter at theame place
