It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Gladys Muthoni Muchiri which occurred on Tuesday 8/08/2017 at Kahembe Village, Ndaragwa Sub County (Leshau).

Wife of the late Daniel Muchiri Mwangi. Daughter of the late Paul Kanja and the late Jane Wairimu Kanja of Muruguru, Nyeri County. Mother of the late Simon Kanja, Elizabeth Mugure, Benson Mwangi (Del monte Thika), Samuel Waruru, Jane Njoki (DO Buruburu), Elizabeth Gakenia, Loise Njambi and George Wandimi. Sister of the late Hon. Waruru Kanja, Loise Njoki, NancyWanjiku, the late Esther Waniiru and step sister of Nderitu Kanja among others. Mother-in-law of Benson Wanene, Michael Mogaka isoe (KCAA HQRS), Nehemiah Wachira (DCI HORS), VVangechi, Muthoni, Nero and Waniiku. Sister-in-law of Muthoni, the late Wandirni, Muturi, Mwathi and Wachira. Grandmother of Gladys, Lydia, Miriam, Susan, Daniel, Dennis among others. Great grandmother of many. Daughter-in-law of the late David Wa Mwangi and the late Elizabeth Mugure.

Daily prayers are being held at their home from 2:00pm.The cortege leaves Nyahururu Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 18th August 2017 at 10:00am for burial ceremony at her home in Leshau Village.
