It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Grace Wambui Gakinya, which occurred in Galway, Republic of ireland.

Daughter of Edward and Nancy Gakinya. Loving mother of Joe Mwangi (Ireland). Sister of Robert Mwangi, Beatrice Wanjiku & John Cyrus Ng’ang’a, Nana Gakinya & Patrick Kinoti, Carolyne Wariara & Amos Gichamba (USA), Evelyne Njoki & Ken Kirika and Peter Muhindi.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at her parents’ residence in Maki Estate Thika, off Thika Gatanga Road, from 7:00PM.

A fundraiser to assist in the burial preparations will be held on Thursday, 9th April 2026 at the parents’ residence.

Burial date shall be communicated later.
