Gregory Gatumuta Karitu

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Gregory Gatumuta Karitu that occurred on 12th July 2025 as a result of drowning at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware U.S.A.

He was a son of Charles Karitu Gatumuta of Gatumuta & Co.Advocates and the late Jane Njeri Githaite. Step-son of Peris Wawira.

Brother of Sharon Njoki, Victor Kimemia and step-brother of Zainabu Wanjiru, Geoffrey Gatumuta and Ashley Njeri.

Gregory was a grandson of the late Gregory Gatumuta & Lilian Njoki of MumuiVillage, Kipipiri and the late Maria Wairimu.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at the family home ltanga, Gitaru Kabete Sub-county from 5.00p.m.

The funeral service and interment will be held on Friday 1st August 2025 from 10.00am at their rural home in Mumui, Village, Kipipiri Sub-County, Nyandarua County.
