Hannah Wanjiku Ndirangu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hannah Wanjiku Ndirangu, which occurred on the 26th March 2026 at Kenyatta. University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur Nginyo and the late Esther Wahu.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ndirangu Miingi. She was a loving mother of Tabitha Wambui Maweu, Esther Wahu Waweru, Harun Miingi, Arthur Nginyo, Sophia Njeri, Henry Njenga, Grace Wanjiru Muriithi and Peter Githuku (Njoroge).

She was a mother in law of Mathew Maweu, Norman Waweru, Monicah Nduta,Aidah Wanjiru, Lucy Ngatha, Boniface Muriithi and Lucy Wambui.

Grandmother of Charles, Prince, Marlyam, Jeff, Anita, Ian, Trizah, Vincent, Ann, Alex, Angela, Victoria, Alliana, Kelvin, Sharpen, Renox, Shiku, Joy, Calvin and Malvin.

She was sister of Mary Wacuka, Tabitha Kabura, the late Godfrey Muigai, the late Grace Wanjiru and the late Peninah Muthoni.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Arimi, Elburgon, and also in Membley, 143 Brokeview, Felsita’s Lane (near Serengeti, Membley) for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru on Tuesday, 7th April 2026, for the funeral service at Arimi Primary School, followed by burial at her home in Arimi, Elburgon at 10:00 a.m.
