Appreciation

The family of Mama Grace Kavai Amuguni extends our deepest and most heartfelt thanks, to all who stood with us following the passing of our beloved Henry Amena Amuguni (24th August 1968 – 16th May 2025).

To our dear friends, relatives, and neighbours—your prayers, visits. kind words, and presence brought us strength and comfort during an incredibly difficult time. We felt your love and support deeply.

With deep appreciation, we thank Nairobi Chapel Ngong Road and Vung’ali PAG Church for surrounding us with spiritual strength and for leading the memorial and funeral services with a comforting presence and heartfelt care.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the World Bank Group, Ernst & Young, and the Braeside School fraternity for honouring Henry’s professional journey and legacy. We are also truly grateful to the National Treasury, Office of the Auditor General, Controller- of Budget, Council of Governors, and other Kenyan government institutions—as well as international government agencies—for their touching tributes and continued support.

To the dedicated medical teams at Aga Khan University Hospital (Nairobi) and Netcare Sunninghill Hospital (South Africa), thank you for your exceptional care during Henry’s brave fight.
