Herina Achieng Ouma-Lwunza

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s, will that we announce the passing on of Herina Achieng Ouma-Lwunza of Omayya and Nkuubi Co. Advocates, which occurred on June 12,2025 at the Kenyatta National Hospital, after a three-month long battle with chronic illness.

She was the beloved wife of Nixon Lwunza Musavwa of Trans-Nzoia county, Kimason Village.

Daughter of Simeon Ouma and the late Sylvia Opiyo of Gem, Nyawara. Sister of Beatrice Atieno (Seme), the late Kristine Ouma and Mickey Ouma.

Daughter-in-law of the late Jamin Musavwa and Mama Abigael Musavwa. Sister-in-law of the late Kennedy Keverenge Musavwa and Irene Chebusiri Ouma.

Aunty of Irene Olenyo, Lavender, Fidel, Ivy, Hannah and Hazel. Cousin/aunty to the Oliks, the Digollos, the Marenyas, the Osongis, the Ogunas, amongst others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Umoia I , L142 and at Lower Kabete for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves the KNH Farewell Home on Friday, June 27, 2025 for Kitale, Mois Bridge, for burial on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Revelation 14:13 – blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on.They will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them.
