The great ‘Simba’ now rests in glory

With humble acceptance of God’s will, the Munyao Family announces the peaceful sunset of Hon Joseph Konzollo Munyao E.G.H on Saturday, November 2025.

He was a devoted husband. a deeply loving father, and a pillar of wisdom to his extended family, colleagues. and community. His Life was defined by service, integrity, and unwavering faith. He lived generously, led courageously, and loved fiercely.

He was the cherished husband of our late dear mother Agnes Mutete Munyao and the beloved father of Alex Kyoto and Jane-Anne Shiro, Judy Nduku, Muteti and Christine Wanjiru, Stephanie Mutindi and Steve Kiarie. He was a treasured grandfather of Tete, Njeri, Mwende, Tindi, Konzollo, Cyra,Jojo, Nessie. Mentor and confidant to many.

He was the son of the late Joel Muithya and the late Esther Mutindi Munyao and brother of William Kivuva (Late), Milcah Mumbua (late), Agnes Mueke, Beatrice Kyule, Geoffrey Kituu, Peter Mwau Phillip Munyao (late), Ruth Kanaa, Jacob Mutua, Elizabeth Mwikati, Penninah Mutindi (Late), Damaris Mbuta Yula, Bahati Muthini, Sabina Ndulu, Benson Mule, Phoebe Kavinya Mary Nzila Patricia Katunge, and Sammy Musyimi (late)

He was the uncle to many loved nieces and nephews.

He was an in-law to the Muraya’s, Ndung’u’s and Kiarie’s.

A distinguished statesman, he served the nation with honour. humility, and steadfast commitment. His legacy remains deeply woven into the story of Kenya and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Daily meetings will be held at Hon. Joseph Munyao’s Residence, Miotoni Road. Tue, 25th November, 2025,  Wed, 26th November, 2025,  Thur, 27th November, 2025 From 5:30 PM.

Fundraiser: Friday, 28th November2025 From 6:00 PM Hon Joseph Munyao’s Residence, Miotoni Road.

Memorial Service: Tue, 2nd December 2025 Venue: Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road Time: 12:00 noon

Funeral service and Burial:  Thur, 4th December 2025 Venue: Kyanguyu Village, Kalawa, Makueni County.
