Hon. Rev. Kennedy Odhiambo Nyagudi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hon. Rev. Kennedy Odhiambo Nyagudi, former Member of Parliament for Kisumu Town West, on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025.

Hon. Rev. Kennedy Nyagudi was a dedicated husband to Winnie J. Nyagudi, a cherished father to Vanessa, Victor, and Jeremy Nyagudi, and a beloved son of Joseph Nyagudi, the late Peres Aoko Nyagudi, and Mama Mary Nyagudi.

Brother of Jane Odada, Rose Nyagudi, the late Samuel Nyagudi, the late Cllr Christine, the late Janet Nyagudi, Mary Akuka, Robert, _ Douglas, Broderick, Rhoda, and Silpa Nyagudi.

Son-in-law of the late Shem Goga and the late Joyce Goga, the late Edith Goga, and Elizabeth Goga

Brother-in-law of Phoebe Nyagudi, Wycliffe Odhiambo,Albinus Odada, the late Martin Omollo, Judith, Martha, and Lucy Nyagudi.

Uncle of Calvin Nyagudi, Beatrice Odhiambo, Janet Achieng, Thatcher Odada, Tony Obuya Ramogi, Leonel, and Prisca Nyagudi, among others.

A memorial service will take place at African Gospel Church on Langata Road, Karen, Nairobi on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at 10 AM.Another funeral service will be held at St. Stephen’s Church, Milimani, Kisumu at 10:30 AM on Thursday, 10th, 2005.

The burial service will take place at the Late Hon. Nyagudi’s home in Gem, Siaya County on Friday, 11th April, 2025.

In remembrance of the Hon Kennedy Nyagudi who sadly passed away on Sunday March, 23rd 2025 at Kenyatta National Hospital, a fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5.00pm to 8.00pm at All Saints Catherdral, Nairobi.
