Humphrey Daniel Odhiambo Onyando

Born: 11th May 1960 – Died: 12th November 2025

Our beloved Daniel Odhiambo Onyando went to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 12th 2025.

He was a dear son of the late Mzee Samuel Onyando Olilo and the late Mama Joyce Odawa Onyando of Kisumu, Nyahera, Kandalo village. Son in law of the late Mzee Philip Ywaya Odero and Mama Haggar Ywaya of Asembo, Kanyingoro.

Beloved husband of Jane Akoth Odhiambo and father of Sylvia Ng’uono Odhiambo Owuor of the Judiciary, Joyce Achieng’ Odhiambo and Samuel Benjamin Onyando. Father in law of Maxwell Owuor and Sheila Akinyi. Grandfather of Daniel, Pete, Karl, Shirley and Sylvia.

Grandson of the late Mzee Daniel and Mama Debora Olilo and the late Mzee Japheth and Mama Isabel Odero.

Brother of Ken Onyando, the late Susan Onyando, Lady Justice Emily Ominde, the late Samson Odero Onyando, Ruth Akinyi, Ronald Ngala and Alan Ochieng’.

Brother in law of Rosemary Muganda, Joyce Ngala and Everlyne Ochieng’.

Uncle of Angela Ayieko, Samuel Onyando, the late Sylvia Oluoch, Stephanie Odero, Cynthia Odawa, Joyce Odawa and others.

Paternal nephew to the Oguso, Akello, Bala, Akach; Oburu, Ogada, Alai, Ahoya, Anete, Omiro families, among others and maternal nephew to the Oyaro, Midiwo, JP Odero, °tale, Gilo, Siengo, Ochuka and Athembo families.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Kisumu, Nyahera, Kandalo Village.

His remains will leave the Kwee Funeral Home in Kisumu at 2 pm on Friday November 28th, 2025 for a church service at his home. His burial will be on Saturday November 29m, 2025 at his home in Nyahera, Kandalo village, Kisumu County.
