It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jaduong Jason Meshack Oyugi Mwanda. Retired employee of the Ministry of Lands and Public Works. He died peacefully in his sleep on 29th January 2026 at his home in Nyang’oma, Kogelo Siaya County.

Son of the late Mwanda Ouna and the late Madgalene Ajwang. Brother of the late Robert Oluoch, late Gilbert Ouna, late Julius Ojwang’, late Francis Ochola, late Joseph Odhiambo, Mary Adhiambo & Stephen Oluoch.

Beloved husband to Paschalia Oyugi & Lillian Adhiambo both of Sakwa Bondo, Siaya County. Father of Caroline, Brenda, Lilian, Florine, Francis, the late Yvonne, Calvin,Wycliffe, Ken, Janet & Collins. Grandfather of Aganze, Duane, Jayson, Adrian, Crispus, Dylan, Jasmine, Cliff, Azelea, Ezra, Kyla, Kogen, Wagama and Akech, Marlene, Malia, Milan, Meave, Jayson, Joseph, Meryl, Felix, Stephanie, Greg, Leila, Elizabeth & Cindy. Great grandfather of Josiah.

Father-in-law of Dishon Kimonge, Eluid Opondo, Stephen Mbai, Victoria Kisoryo, Victoria Simiyu.

Uncle of the Oluochs, Ounas, Ojwangs, Ocholas, Odhiambos (Tisa), Odhiambos (Mary), Oluochs (Asara), & the Abondos.

Son-in-law of the late Benedict Abondo & the late Herenia Akech. Brother-in-law of Vincent, Florence, late Maurice, Christine, Clementine, Charles, Francisca, late Beatrice, Philip, Margaret, Nelly and Rose, the late Victoria, Eunice, Angelica, the late Margaret, Felisita, the late Mary, Tina. Karen, Jennifer, Christine, & William.

Celebration of life, meeting and condoling with the family at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 5th February 2026 at 5.30pm.

Cortege is leaving Bama Mortuary for a memorial service at his home in Nyang’oma Kogelo at 2.00pm on 13th February 2026. Burial Service is on 14th  February 2026 at his home in Nyang’oma Kogelo from 10.00am.
