James Mponda Mbotela

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved James Mponda Mbotela on 28th July 2025 after an illness bravely borne.

A devoted father of John, Moses and Anna Mbotela.

A cherished son of the late John Frank Mbotela (Tike) and Margaret Mbotela. Brother of Elizabeth Komora, Matilda Mpora, the late Torn Mbotela, Joan Mbotela-Sinari and Peter Mbotela. Cousin, uncle and friend to many.

A fundraiser to offset the pending medical bills will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on 8th August 2025 at 5.00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at All Saints Cathedral on 15th August 2025 at 2.00 p.m.

The cortege will leave Coptic Hospital on 16th August 2025 at 9.00a.m for burial ceremony at Langata cemetery.
