James Mute Thiong’o (Mjube)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of James Mute Thiong’o (Mjube) of N.I.T.D Thiboro village Kangemi, Waiyaki way.

Husband of Jamimah Wanjiku. Father of the late Waringa, Mr. Stephen Thiong’o,AgnesWambui, Nancy Gathoni, Susan Waringa, Loise Waithera and Serah Njeri. Son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs Erenst Muchene Waritho. Son of the late Thiong’o Mute and Gladys Kiringa. Brother of David Kamau, Francis Kirata, Mwaura, the late David Mbugua, Teresia Gathoni, the late Loise Waithera and the late Agnes Wambui Elijah. He is elder father to Rev. John Kirata of ACK Kamburu.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his family residence from 3:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, along Mbagathi road on Monday 19th August, 2019 at 9:00am for a funeral service at Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) St. Philip’s Thiboro Parish, along Thiong’o Road, Kangemi from 11.00am. Thereafter burial will follow at his farm in Kangemi.
