It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of James Weru Maina. Son of the late David Maina Home & Esther Njoki Maina of Ndimaini, Karatina, Mathira, Nyeri County. Husband of Jane Gathigia Weru. Son in law of the late Gachanja Kiriba and Eunice Ngima
Father of Lillian Wandia, David Maina, Beatrice Wanjiru, Paul Muriuki, Gerald Waithaka, Mary Njeri, Ann Wanjiku, Esther Gathoni and Joseph Mwangi. Father in-law of Paul Muriithi, Phylis Nyambura, Lucy Kabura, Mary Kirigo, Eric Kiogora and Anthony Ndegwa. Grandfather of Priscilla Wambui,Alex Maina, Denis Thuo, James Weru, Schola Jane, Jane Muthoni, Jeremy Weru, Ian Weru, Jay Weru, Abigael Gacheri, Florence Wambui among others.
Brother of Cyrus Kanyotu, Mary Gathoni, the late Paul Muriuki, Margaret Wamuyu, Elizabeth Nyaguthii, Mary Wairimu and Gerald Home. He was cousin, uncle, in-law and a great friend of many.
Prayers and meetings are being held daily at his home Ndimaini-Karatina, Comfy Inn Hotel along Thika road (Kahawa Sukari Enterance) and Starwood Hotel Kerugoya at 5:00 pm. cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary-Karatina on Saturday 13th May 2017 at 9am. Funeral service will take Place at PCEA Ndimaini Church and thereafter Burial ceremony at his home Ndimaini
