Memorial Service

The Memorial Service celebrating the life of the late Jeremiah Gitau Kiereini will be held at 11am, on Tuesday the 9th of July 2019, at the All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi.

Jeremiah was a loving husband to Dr. Eunice Muringo Kiereini M.B.S., E.B.S . Father to Douglas and Joyce, Wambui, Mumbi, The late Caroline, Mburu, Wambui and Githae Kiereini. Grandfather to Njeri, Nemaisa and Anthony, Gitau and Irene, Saidimu and Cassandra, Mumbi, Gitau and Muringo. He was a Great Grandfather to 8. He was an Uncle, Cousin and beloved friend to many.

Jeremiah served his country as a dedicated Civil Servant at different levels and at different ministries, culminating in his Service as Kenya’s First Chief Secretary/Secretary to the Cabinet. He thereafter turned his skills to the Corporate world serving as Chairman and Director of various Corporations, including The Cooper Motor Corporation, EABL, CFC Bank, Stanbic Bank amongst others.

He was interred at a private family ceremony on the 16th of May 2019. Jeremiah will be greatly missed by all who truly knew him.
