John Okava Wanyama

We regret to announce the death of John Okava Wanyama from Nang’anda village which occurred on 28th March 2023 at the Eldoret Hospital after a long illness.

Son of the late Jacob wafula Wanyama and the late Gladys Nekesa Wanyama.

A loving husband to Florence Naswa Barasa and a Beloved father to Kenneth (Eng – Safaricom), Lucy (Security Manager), Edward (Contractor – KPLC), Gladys lournalist), Antony (Eng-KQ), Lonah (Actuary / Pharmacyst), Dennis (High School Teacher),the late Sheila, Lyndah (Clinical Pediatrician), Sheila (Teacher), Bilha (Business Manager), Milka (High School Teacher).

Brother to the late Francis, the late Susan, Tom, the late Addah, Rose, Moses, the late Caleb, Margaret and the late Rachael.

Father-in-law to Sumba Juma (Communications Director, Kakamega County), Dr Edith Wafula (Bungoma County) and Evans Ochieng (Contractor- KPLC).

Leaves behind 12 grandchildren namely: Tasha, Olivier, Enos, Euchamia, Fridah, Joy, Gloria, Gift, Favour, Marcel, Euler and Alvince.

The cortege Leaves Eldoret hospital funeral home on Thursday, 6th April 2023 for burial on 8th April 2023 at his home in Nang’anda village, Navakholo Sub-county, Kakamega County.
