Joseph Mwangi Mbote (Kamau)

The Board of Directors, Makomboki Tea factory regrets to announce the promotion to glory of their Chairman Joseph Mwangi Mbote (Kamau) after short illness bravely borne.

He was the son of the late Stephen Mbote and the late Elizabeth Wanjiku Mbote. He was the son-in-law of the late Mr. Benson Ndichu & Mrs. Grace Wangari Ndichu.

He was the husband of JaneWaithira. Father of Sylvia Wanjiku Mwangi (UK) & Carol Nyambura Mwangi (UK) and Benson Ndichu (Corteva Company).

Brother of Alice Wangari (UK), the late Florence Wambui Abraham Mukuru (Gikomba, Nakuru), Isaac Gaitho (Kiamunyi, Nakuru), John Gathu (USA), David Mama (USA) and Faith Wanjiru – HSC, Nairobi.

Father-in-law of Lilian Wakesho. Brother in-law of Grace Wangari (Nakuru), the late Emilly VVangui, Margret Wanjiru (Nakuru), Rose Njeri (USA), Peter Kimani, Rose Wanjiru, John Gachinga, James Muirun, Faith Wanjiku and Rufus Mugo.

Burial meetings are ongoing as follows: his home in Ndiara, Muranga County. Meetings in Nakuru will be at the Boxing Club & Nairobi at the All Saints Cathedral. All the meetings start from 5.00 pm daily from Wednesday 2nd July all through to Friday 4th July 2025.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati (Thika Road) on Saturday 5th July 2025 at 8:00 AM for funeral service & burial at his home in Ndiara, Kimotho Village. Makomboki Location, Murang’a County.
