He was son of the late John Nallo and the late Domitila Okwiri. Son-in-law of the late Thadeus Ogugo and the late Cecilia Oyumbre.

Beloved father of Prof. Dr. Margaret Awuor Owuor (Wyss Academy, University of Bern-Switzerland), Colonel Veronica Aluoch Owuor (KDF), Angeline Akello Owuor (UN New York), Peter Odhiambo Owuor (Bama Hospital), Juliet Achieng Owuor (European Forest Institute – Germany) and Charles Osero (KPLC).

The Cortege leaves Rang’ala Mission Funeral Home on Friday 4th July, 2025, for a Requiem Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Ramba, Siaya County starting at 03:00 pm. The funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday 5th July, 2025, at Karapul Primary School starting from 09:00 am and thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his home in Karapul, Usere Village, Siaya County.
