It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Nyaboke Akunga, which occurred on Sunday 16th May, 2021.

Daughter of the late Ogeto Ototo and the late Nyangiate Okinyi. Loving wife of Ronald Akunga Migosi. Beloved mother of Sarah, Rebecca, David, Reuben and Mike. Doting grandmother of Abigail, Solomon, Tavin, Brian, Caleb, Sophie, Abisai, Jael and others. Sister of the late Oenga, Barongo and Nyankieya.

Sister in-law of Zachary, Duke, Alice, Kennedy, Faridar Omar, Habiba, Haziza, Mwanaidi, Salhah, Zaranoon and Juma and others. Beloved mother in-law of Catherine, Christine, Mercy and Robert. –Aunt of Lameck, Grace, the late Kerindo,Amoro, Zipporah, Stella, Elijah, Kwamboka, Nyanchoka, Susan, Ogeto, Nyakundi, Dennis, Herbert, Lydia, Cynthia, Doreen, Marion, Pauline and others.

Cousin of the Siribas, the Rasugus, the Nyangenas, the Nehemiahs and others. Korera of the Ochieng’s (Siaya), the Oderas (Ugenya), the Barasas (Tongaren), the Embeywas (Kiritu, Vihiga), Agnes Moraa (Nyamaiya), and others.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Kijauri, Nyansiongo, daily from 5.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Nyansiongo Funeral Home on Wednesday, 26th May, 2021, at 7.30am, for burial her home Sasuri Village, Nyansiongo (Nyamira County).
