Joshua Mariga Orangi

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joshua Mariga Orangi, which occurred on 17th October 2025.

Husband of Evelyne Bosibori Mariga.

Son of the late Mzee Orangi Nyakeruma, Mama Pacifica Nyanchera, Mama Hellena Nyabeta and the late Teresia Nyanduko.

He was a loving father of Lamech Orangi, Austin Nyakwara, and Lenny Nyanamba, and Maureen Moraa. A grandfather of Angel, and Reuel.

Brother of Kennedy (late), Naomi, Hellen, Judith, Elikana, Boaz,Agnes, Kamanda, late, Kemunto, Peter, Mary Mokaya, Moraa, Nyaigoti, late Moseti, Jane, Moraa, Ondieki, Mokua, late Mariachana.

Nephew of Late Elijah, late Chakua, Ongaga, Nyakundi, Late Cheki, Nyarnieri, Nyamota, Nyangau, Mokeira, Taresia, Momanyi. Joseph, Kennedy, Omao, Elenisa, late Nyaboke, late Margaret, Truphena.

Son-in-law of Mzee Alfred Moran& and Mama Rosebella Mokeira. Brother-in-law of the late Mophat, Nyakundi, Eric, Evelyne, Julliana, Emily, Alice, Penina, Mary, Eunice, Mercy, Peris Moraa, Nyaboke, Nelia, Risper, Mogi, Brenda, Kevin & Edwin among others. He was an uncle and cousin of many.

There will be a main fundraising to offset medical and funeral expenses on Today, 28 October 2025, at LMS, Simba Hall, Nairobi Central SDA Church (Jakaya Kikwete Road) from 5:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Newlife SDA Church, 5th Ngong Avenue, on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, from 12 noon.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi, on Thursday, 30 October 2025, for a funeral service and burial on Friday, 31st October 2025, at his home in Simbauti Village, Magombo Location, Manga Sub-County, Nyamira County.
