It is with great humility, love and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Julia Akello Kunguru on 6th December, 2025.
Daughter of the late Morris Onyango Ngweno and the late Regina Adikinyi Muluka.
Beloved wife of the late Martin Pius Kunguru. Sister of the late Hilary Ng’weno, the late Anthony Onyango, Archelaus Oundo, Theresa Aloo, Eulalia Namai, Elizabeth Onyango and the late Boniface Wanyama.
Mother of Proscovia Kunguru, the late Catherine Kunguru Dial, Gonzaga Kunguru and Maurice Kunguru.
Sister-in-law of Margaret and Fredrick Kunguru amongst many others.
Mother-in-law of Martha. Grandmother of Julia, Martina, Catherine and Martin. Aunt, mentor and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at Plainsview Estate.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, 11th December 2025 at 2:00pm at Don Bosco Catholic Church, Upper Hill, Nairobi.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 17th December 2025, at her home in Buriangi Village, Busia County.
