JUSTICE FRED ANDAGO OCHIENG’ J/A

APPRECIATION

We, the family of the late Justice Fred Andago Ochieng (Court of Appeal) wish to express our profound gratitude for the overwhelming support received following our bereavement. Your prayers, messages, physical presence and material support went a long way in consoling us.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the St. Austins Nairobi parish priest, Fr. Henry; and Our Lady Queen of Peace, Muhoroni parish priest, Fr Joseph, for walking with the family. We also thank all the priests and religious brothers and sisters for the immense spiritual support and masses offered. We sincerely appreciate Archbishop Philip Anyolo, for presiding over the funeral Mass in Nairobi and Archbishop Maurice Makumba and Bishop John Oballa Owaa for presiding over the funeral mass in Muhoroni. Thank you also to the parish groups in Nairobi and Muhoroni for their overwhelming support.

A big thank you also goes out to the Judiciary family led by Hon. Lady Justice Martha K. Koome, EGH, Chief Justice & President of the Supreme Court and Hon. Lady Justice Philomena M. Mwilu, EGH Deputy Chief Justice & Vice President of the Supreme Court. A special mention goes out to all judges of the Court of Appeal, led by The Hon. Mr. Justice Daniel Musinga, President, Court of Appeal and all judges, judicial officers and staff from the High Court and courts of equal status.

We thank the legal fraternity in Kenya and beyond, including Kaplan and Stratton Advocates, The Law Society of Kenya and Okil Kamaloka Welfare Association (OKWA) for their immense support.

We thank The National Government, The Kenya Defence Forces and The County Government of Kisumu for their support.

Our special thanks go to all the doctors who treated Justice Fred Ochieng’ including Dr. Olang’, Dr. Kisyoka, Prof. Lule, Prof. Amayo, among others.

We are sincerely grateful to the many organizations and groups for their support including, The University of Nairobi, relatives, friends of the family, neighbours and all well-wishers.

We thank the funeral organizing committee in Nairobi and Muhoroni for the great effort in co-ordinating activities smoothly until we laid our beloved Justice Fred Ochieng’ to rest.

Since it is not possible to reach you all individually, as we would love to, kindly accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation to all who stood with us during this difficult time.
