It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Laban Mutavi Mbevi, which occurred on 18th April, 2021 at Meridian Hospital – Nairobi after a Long illness bravely borne.

The third born child of the late Mbevi Ngwava and the late Naomi Mbesa Mbevi. Brother of the late Henry Mbevi, the late Justus Mbevi late George Mbevi and the late Muure Mukinga. Husband of Dorcas Mbevi. Father of Shadrack Mutavi, Tabitha Limbua, Esther Mutua, Paul Mutavi, Beth Mutua, David Mutavi, Jared Mutavi, Eunice Mutavi and Judy Weber. Father-in-law of Grace Mutuku, Julius Limbua, James Mutua, Boniface Muthoka, Agnes David, Carolyne Paul and Gerd Weber.

Grandfather of Timothy Muoka, Bernard Mbevi, Eric Kyalo, Magdalene Mwende, Daniel Muthenya, Naomi Kainda, Shadrack Muriithi, Mercy Muthoni, Naomi Mutua, Alpha Mutua, Carolyne Mutua, Dorcas Mutua, Andrew Muendo, Nelly Mwende, Mitchel Mutheu, Ryan Laban Mumo, Collins Muthoka, Aaron Nthenge, Naomi Mutua, Maxwell Matheka, Naomi Jessica, Ephraim Nzioka, Jabal Mumo, Victoria Mwelu, Elvis Kivuitu, Pamela Weber and Marcus Weber. Agreat-grandfather to many great-grandchildren.

Cousin of the Musimba’s the Mutia’s the Kimindu’s and the Musembis.

Relatives and friends are meeting at his home in Kitheinl village.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Funeral Home at 7:00am on 24th Saturday 2021 for burial at his home in Kitheini village, Mumela Location, Mukaa Sub-county, Makueni County.
