Death has occurred of Mrs. Loise Wanjiru Wachira on October 8, 2016. She was the eldest daughter of the late Ndegwa Muthungu and the late Salome Wangechi. She was the wife of the late Geoffrey Wachira Mahinda and mother of Chris & Lydia Mahinda; Peter & Tabitha Ndegwa; the late George Kihia; Salome & Alfred Lenana; Grace and Magu Cushny; John & Mary Gaita; and Gladys & J.C. McFadden.

Sister of John Gaita; Gladys Wairimu; the late Gathuku Ndegwa: and Dinah Nyambura. Grandmother of Dr Louisa Mahinda; Mumbi & Dr. Aleri; Salome Mahinda; and Wachira Mahinda; Geoffrey Ndegwa, the late Christopher Ndegwa; and Valerie Ndegwa; Wanjiru Kihia and Wachira Kihia:Wambugu Lenana. Nyokabi Lenana and Wanjiru Lenana; Eric & Cate Cushny; Ciku Cushny: and Wachira Cushny; Dr. Wanjiru & Mark Kaigwa; Wachira Cushny Wachira Gaita; Edwina and Jesse McFadden.
