It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of, Lucy Muthoni Kanyuira, wife of Dr. Kanyuira Gerald Gikonyo.

Mother of Samuel Chege, Mary Wangari, James Gikonyo, Rebecca Wachinga & Mary Nyambura.

Daughter of Patrick Chege Mirie &Alice Wagathu Chege. Sister of James Njoroge, Peter Mirie, Fidelis Wangui, Felister Mumbi, Grace Wanjiru & the late Salome Wambui.

Daughter in-law of the late Gerald Gikonyo & the late Mary Wangari. Sister in-law of Grace Muchiri,VVaiyigo Mwangi, Maina Gikonyo, Gichimu Gikonyo & Javed Kamau.

Grandmother of Mercy Njoki & Julius Kimani.

Friends & relatives are meeting daily at Alfa Hotel Munyu Road for Prayer & funeral arrangement starting 6..00 pm daily.

The cortege leaves K.U. Referral on Saturday 19th July 2025 at 6.00 am for funeral service & burial at Thangathi village, Wenjerere sub-location, Rwathia Murang’a.
