It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Rachael Gathoni Wamutu of Kagonye Village, Mumwe Location of Othaya – Nyeri, which occurred on 7th March, 2022.

Daughter of the late Waiganjo Githuku and the late Wanjugu Waiganjo.

Cherished wife of the late Johnson Wamutu Hare. Sister to the late Wanjiru Waiganjo, the late Gakinya Waiganjo, the late Githuku Waiganjo, the late Nyakarura Bari, the late Wambui Kibaara, the late Gituiku Waiganjo, and the late John Gatete Waiganjo.

Mother to the late Wachira Wamutu, Samuel Waiganjo, Naomi Wanjiru Maina, the late Wanjugu Wamutu, Susan Wangechi Kanyora, the late Huini Wamutu, David Wanderi, Nancy Nyakonyu Mwangi, the late Watetu Wamutu, Grace Wangui Karera, John Gakinya, and Janet Wanjiku Mahugu.

Mother-in-law to the late Eddah Wangui Waiganjo, Lucy Waiganjo, the late Maina Macharia, John Kanyora Geita, Beatrice Wanderi, Harrison Mwangi, Isaac Karera, Nduta Gakinya and Joseph Mahugu.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 15th March, 2022 at 7.00am for a funeral service at AIPCA Church Kagonye, Mumwe Location, Othaya, Nyeri and thereafter burial at her home nearby.

Family and friends shall be meeting on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday at P.C.EA. St.Andrew Church – Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements from 6.00pm and at her rural Kagonye home.
