As we, your loved ones, embark on this 5th year without you, we hold your memory in our hearts and minds and keep your spirit alive through us. Your warm embrace, kind words and earnest wisdom are some of your many gifts that we wish we could still receive and we would give anything to have in our lives once more. However, the greatest gift you ever gave any of us was being a caring mother, a doting grandmother, and a wonderful great-grandmother.Your grace and compassion will forever be remembered by all who knew you and your humor, joy, charisma, and warm smile will forever be imprinted on our hearts.

There will never be a woman as great as Anna Ong’ech Owino because she was one of a kind and her story will live on forever through the lives she touched and the examples she set for us all.
