Mama Elizabeth Mumbua Zakayo

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the promotion to glory of mama Elizabeth Mumbua Zakayo. Elizabeth hailed from Mukuyuni Village, Kangundo Sub-County, Machakos County.

She was dotting mother of Georgina Ndanu and Solomon Gerald Mue.

She was the daughter of the late Zakayo Mue and the late Naomi Syomiti. She was a sister of the late Rose Mutindi Zakayo,Agnes Kavuli, late Dr. Stephen Mue, the late Bernice Kaveke, the late Jones Nthenge, Justus Muthoka, the late Phoebi Nduku, late Josephine Musembi, Margaret Mwongeli, Pauline Kanyiva, Meshack Mutinda, Shadrack Mumo and Rose Ndungwa. Elizabeth was also a loving aunt of Caleb and many others.

The body is lying at Montezuma Funeral Home.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at CITAM Valley Road from 6:00 PM and at her residence in Syokimau.

A fundraising service will be held on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at CITAM Valley Road from 6:00 PM.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at CITAM Valley Road from 2.00 pm.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home, Machakos on Saturday, 31st January 2026 at 8:00 AM for the funeral service in Kyai Village, Nzuuni division, Mbooni Sub-County, Makueni County. Interment will take place thereafter at the same place.
