It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mama Eunice Jera Otieno Obenge, formerly of Nakumatt Mega, that occurred on 4th August, 2025.
She is the daughter of the late Ibrahim Omulo Jera and the late Esther Omulo of Bar Sauri Village.
Wife of Bishop Elijah Otieno Obenge of Kanyibuop, Bar Sauri. Mother of Angeline Atieno, David Onyango, Catherine Awiti, Jennifer Akeyo, Joshua Opiyo and Sarah Awuor.
Sister in-law of George Obenge, Wycliffe Owino, Mary Achola and Monica Atieno, Sister of Elijah Okello, Mary Adero, Christine Anyango, Norah Adhiarnbo and the late David Omulo.
Her grandchildren are Shawn Preston, Faith Pinkett, Jeremy Koech, Love Shalom, Liam Myles, and David Paxton.
Her sons in law are Geofrey Nyakemwi, Samuel Amutete and Alfrik Koech.
Funeral cortege will leave Yala Level Four Hospital Mortuary on 15th August, 2025 at 10.00am. The burial will be presided over by Christian Covenant Church on 16thAugust 2025.
