It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Janet L. Atieno Rogo which occurred on 16th October 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Eng Apollo O. Rogo.

Daughter of the late Mzee Zakayo Achieng & the late Mama Esther Marwa, Daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Gordon and Mama Zeruiya Rogo.

Mother of Gad, Merab, Esther, Andrew and David. Mother-in-law of Abigael, Martin and Patricia. Grandmother of Darryl, Handel, Beverly, Alicia, Tanasha, Winnie, Wayne, Will & Nathaniel.

Sister of the late Grace, Leah, the late Lurie, the late Masumbuko, Florence, the late Omari, the late Oyula & Odongo.

Sister-in-law of the late Orie Rogo-Manduli, Nelson & Jane Rogo, Aggrey & Priscilla Rogo, Eva & Mitchel Levenez, Prof Khama & Dr Lucie Rogo, Doreen & Adongo Rogo. Auntie to many.

The cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Mortuary Kisumu for a funeral service at ACK St Pauls Rabuor on Friday, 31st October 2025 at 2prn.

The burial will be held on Saturday, 1st November 2025 at her home in Ahono Village, Gem, Siaya County.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her rural home.
