It is in deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Joyce Mutelesa Patisi Wanjala which occurred on 4th June, 2025 at Oak Tree Centre for Kidney & Chronic Diseases.

She was a loving daughter of the late Elisha Patisi and the late Enes Makonjo.

Beloved wife of Shujaa Rtd. Cllr. Mwalimu John Wanjala Masinde.

Daughter in-law of Mama Esther and the late Mayor Timona Masinde.

Mother of Susan, Rose, Peter, Henry, Sam, the late Alex, Julius, Timona, the late Marcus and Joseph.

Sibling of Msanganjila, Koroti, Sitawa,Wakhisi, Luvaha, Simiyu, Munyelele,Wemali, Murabwa, Naliaka, Kasaya, Juma, Matofari, Isaiah, Burungeti, Sitawa, Rasoah,Weyanga, Rodah, Rael, Simon and Musa.

Mother-in-law of George, Francis, Mary K., Sheila, Maureen, Loyce, Mary M., Ann and Everlyn. Loving grandmother of Lynn, June, Olive, Felix, Rose, Ryan, Joyce, Masinde, Brian, Oliver, Alvine, Ivan, Denzel, Gilbert, JoyNoel, JohnKeith, Joel, Joash, Joab, Sharlyne, Shantel, Shawn, Bridgic, Dan, Marvel, Chris, Grace, Esther and Nathaniel. Sister in-law and aunt to many.

The cortege will leave Delight Funeral Home in Kimilili on 13th June, 2025 and will be laid to rest on 14th June, 2025 at her home in Maresi village – TembaTemba, Chebukwabi Location, Kimilili Sub-County in Bungoma County.
