It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the peaceful rest of Mama Millicent Pamela Odoyo Rachuonyo, who passed away on I st July 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Mwalimu Dancan Odoyo Rachuonyo of Kasgunga — Dago Kogelo Village, Ranen, Migori County.

She was the daughter of the late Assistant Chief Enos Ajode Bulwa and the late Mama Susan Ojwando, as well as the late Penina Gaya.

Uncles are Nicolau Opiyo, the late Iphrahim Kiaye, the late Abel Odago of Dier-Aora Mulo Village.

She was the loving mother of Edwin Ouma (Morning), Patrick Odhiambo (Odiero), George Otieno, Isaiah Odiwuor, Christine Marceline Aluoch, Felix Okoth, and Susan Adhiambo. She was preceded in death by her cherished son, Collins Omondi Odoyo.

Mother-in-law of Habiba Ouma, Linet Odhiambo, lsdorah Otieno, Erin Odiwuor, and Merceline Okoth.

Cherished grandmother of Harun Mohamed, Fatmah Safi, Adhnaan Abdinassir, Herman Victor, Lexie Georgia, Shaine Nalla, Elsie Jill, and Caaliyah Liana.

Daughter-in-law of the late Joel Rachuonyo Owuor, the late Esther Akuku, and the late Lydia Achieng. Sister of the late Elmad Ojwang, the late Hezron Awuor, the late Daniel Okeyo, Benard Ouma, the late Silpa Osano, the late Mary Atieno, the late Taphline Akoth, Julia Omolo, Clarice Owayo, Esther Mbajah, the late Rodah Owayo, Silvia Oganga, and the late Damaris Achieng. Cousin of Philip Opiyo,Tom Opiyo, anet Odago, Enos Odago, Ebel Odago, Fredrick Onyango, the late Josiah Kiaye, Alice Akinyi, and Jane Ataka amongst others.

The cortege will leave Med-25 Funeral Home, Kirindo, Mbita, on 23rd July 2025. Burial will take place at her home in Dago Kogelo Village, Ranen,Awendo Sub-County, Migori County, on 24th July 2025.
