We wish to announce the promotion to Glory of Mama Sarah Ombewa Aluma of Uyoma Katweng’a, Siaya County, which occurred suddenly on 10th February 2017. Wife of the late Japuonj Boaz Aluma Mori. Daughter of Robert and Christabel Oringo (deceased) of Sakwa Kamyawa, Daughter in law of Mori and Rhoda (deceased). Nyiek Jemima Aluma. Mother of Grace Chochea. (USA), Martha Achieng’ (Technical University of Kenya), Barak Mori (RVR), Rose (Kambajo Primary School), Beatrice (deceased), Janet, Bernard, Caren, Mikal, Grace (deceased) and Paul. Nephews: Samson, Ishmail, Jack among others. Sister of Stephen and Alois Ibande (both deceased) and Willis lbande. Mother-in-law of Austin Chochea (USA), Lawrence Achieng’ (Intermodal General Services), Aggrey (Usire Primary School), Malachi (deceased), Michael, Judith and Treza. Sister-in-law of Walter Odede, Patrick Sirengo, Christabel (all deceased) Joram Olwande and Wilfrida among others. Aunt of the Odedes, Sirengos, Onokas, Ojallas, Iros among others. She leaves behind 26 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends and relatives are meeting on 21/2/2017 at SSCR, TUK (Kenya Polytechnic) from 5.00pm. The cortege leaves the District Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu, on Friday 24th February 2017 at 10.30am for Church service at St. Paul’s Memorial Church, Ranalo at 1.30pm.
