Mark Ouko Oyoo (Retired Chairman TSC)
1949-2021
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Commissioner Mark Ouko Oyoo of KARO Nairobi which occurred on March 13, 2021.
Son to the late Patrice Oyoo, Mama Masliana Oyoo and Mama Teresa Oyoo. Beloved husband to the late Susan Ouko, the late Christine Oyoo and survived by Doris Oyoo (TSC Headquarters). Father of Polycarp (Nyamgun School), Collins (Charter Comms), Steve Ouko (Kisumu Polytechnic), Clara (KENHA), Edna (EBMUD), Gilbert (DPO Group) and Stephanie (Strathmore). Father in law to Margaret, Lydia, Nancy, Jacky, John, Ahren and Emily. Grandfather to Lavendar, Stacy, Susan Patience, Mark, Victoria, Marsha, Miles, Maria, Hope, Drew and Sydney. Brother to Goga, Pesila, Olweny, Mary, Rose, Linet, Phillip. Mark is a father, brother, uncle, teacher, mentor and friend to many, whose lives he impacted through his selflessness.
A funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church Sabaki-Nairobi to celebrate his life on Thursday March 18th from 2-5pm.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi on Friday 19th for burial at his home in Kondengee village, Sigoti Location in Nyakach sub county on March 20, 2021 by noon.
The final fundraiser (both virtually and in person- all COVID-19 protocol observed) will be held at All Saints Cathedral on March 17 as from 4pm to help cater for medical bills.

Just learnt of the demise of Retired Commissioner Oyoo. My condolences to our colleague Doris Oyoo and the Oyoo family. Knew and interacted with him at TSC. He was a pleasant, dedicated and wise Commissioner. Learnt a lot from him. May God Rest His Soul in Eternal Peace.
