In 1980 studying for my CPE I lived in “Kiabas” thats Paul Muthamias’ home in Kithoka for maybe 6 months or so a period in my life I actually enjoyed to much, as one can imagine I babysat you Nkonge and your brother Mwenda (RIP) while away from school.
After which life happened and I can say we never got to meet for more than 10 times, where each meeting never lasted a few minutes as it happens in the streets of Nairobi a classic extract from the poem which went some thing like “when dogs meet they hesitate…..”, our meetings could be said to be such hesitations.
I got to learn of your academic and business exploits through your online presence and I hereby pass my congratulations posthumously. I dare say I will do my best to keep in quality touch with people I am acquitted too and more so those I love and or like, otherwise fare thee well good chap until the bell tolls for thee.
Best boss I ever worked for, spent good moments with you brother. One of the last people I spoke to before I left 254 like 3 years ago. I almost dropped my phone when I saw your name on mpasho. Thats the worst way of getting such infor.
Salute you Mato.
May our dad rest in eternal peace. Wishing the family God’s grace during this difficult moment.
Rest in peace my neighbor in kithoka and my former boss,,we will miss you alot ,, you have been a great leader and a mentor’
