Mary Kagure Wanyumu

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mary KagureWanyumu which occurred on 5th April 2024.

First born daughter of both late Hezekiah Wanyumu and Monica Wanyumu.

Loving Mum of Patrick Wanyumu Kagure. Mother-in-law of Ann Muthoni, Titus, Patrick, Alice, Leah, Cyrus and Mary. Grandmother of Tamara, Shawn, Ryan and Hudson.

Sister of the late George Maina and Jane Kariuki, Irene Thongoro, James Muchiri, Timothy Githugu, Loise Njugu and Daniel Gathima.

Sister-in-law of the Late George, Eng. Thongoro, Alice Mutahi, Jane, Alice Githugu and Virginia. She was a cousin, aunt, grandmother and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Umoja I, Nyeri and Githurai daily from 6.00pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 16th April for a funeral service at P.C.E.A Ruringu church grounds, Nyeri County followed by interment at her home.
