Mitchelle Jelimo Kemboi

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mitchell Jelimo Kemboi, who passed on Friday 3rd April, 2026.

Mitchelle was the third born child to Captain William Kipkemboi Ruto and Nancy Jebet Kemboi. She was a dear sister of Jelagat Kemboi, Stephen Kemboi and Brian Kemboi.

She was the granddaughter of the late Barnaba Kiplagat Arap Ruto, Rhodah Kiplagat, Peninah Kabon, late Maria Teriki and Jane Taprongoei. Mitchelle was the granddaughter to late Magdalene Chemase.

She was the beloved Niece of John Keitany,Tracy Keitany and Dennis Tallam, Gilbert Keitany and Judith Komen Isaac Baimett and Mercy Langat, late Alice, late Eng. Kiplagat and Mary and late Rosa late Mirriam and late Job,Timon and Pamela, Evelyne, late Agnes and Joseph, Dinah, the late Esther, late Paulina and Joseph, Simeon, late Stanley and late Betty, Sarah, late Dorine, Joseph and Anne, Lina Purity, Josephat and Caro,Victor and Dorris. late Gilbert, Shadrack and Mercy, Kibet and Faith, Ronald and Sally, late Jemutai, Caren, late Nancy, Faith and Wesley.Vincent and Winnie, Norah and Geoffrey.

She was a beloved cousin of Stacy, Messi, Jessy, Jerono, Luka, Betty, Eng. Kirnutai, Eng. Kiplimo, Dr Kiptum„ Kevin, Faith, Maureen, Caren, Trevor, Daniella, Vincent, Victor (Bosco), Jepkemoi, Jelimo, Milly, Nickson, Brenda, Jemuu, Benson, Tony, Douglas, Albert, Camilla and Shirleen among others.

The body will be airlifted to Nakuru on Wednesday 8th April 2026 for a funeral service at their Mochorigoi home in Eldama Ravine on Thursday April 9th 2026.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Friday 10th April 2026 at their Kabarak home, Nakuru County.
