Moses Ngugi Gatere

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce to passing on of Moses Ngugi Gatere from Kanunga Village on 23rd January 2023.

He was son of the late James Gatere Ndugo and the late Lilian Muthegu Gatere.

Loving husband of Esther Nieri Macharia, loving father of Lilian Muthegu Ngugi (Washington USA), Maxwell Gatere Ngugi and jewel Waniiru Ngugi.

He was the son-in-law of the late Stephen Macharia Kanyanjua and the late Emmah Waniiru Macharia.

He was loving brother of Michael Karanja, Hannah Wambui Ireri, George Kangethe Gatere. Jane Wanjiku Njomo, Margaret Nduta Gatere (U.K), Mercy Nyokabi Gatere, Titus Ndung6 Gatere, Serah Wanjiku Gatere.

Brother -in- law of Patrick Mwangi Macharia, Alice Wambui Macharia, Margaret Wanjiku Macharia and Sister Lydia Nduta Macharia.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home at Kanunga Village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave St. Teresa Hospital along Kiambu Road on Friday, 30th January 2026. Funeral Service will follow at A.C.K St. Mark’s Church Kanunga at 11.00 AM and thereafter the interment will be at their farm, in Njunu. .
