Son of Mzee Nicodemus Asande Matara and Mama Anna Stella Asande of Gesiaga Village, Bosamaro Chache, West Mugirango.

Father Of Maxwell Asande Matara (Royal Springs Mwencha Junior Academy) and Kimberly Kwarnboka Matara (Royal Metropolis – Ogango).

Beloved brother of Janet Kerubo and Elizabeth Moraa.

Grandson of Matara Ong’era and Elizabeth Kerubo, Mark Osoro and Scollastica Kernunto (all late) and mama Nyakarnbi Matara.

Nephew of Ong’era, Mosinya, Matwere, Nyagetari, Ngare, Lucy, Alloys, Fidels, Protus (All late) Jernimah, Josephine, Keara, Matara, Mary, Dorca, Pascallia, Dominic, Alice, Magret, Julius among others.

In-law of Benedict Okello, uncle of Joy and Louis, Emmanuel, Debora., Gerishon.

The main fundraiser will be held today,Tuesday, 23rd September 2025, at the Professional Centre, 2nd Floor, Room 2, off Parliament Road, Nairobi, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital private wing on Thursday 25th September 2025 and burial will take place on Friday 26thSeptember 2025 at home Gesiaga SDA Church ground, Bosamaro Chache, Nyamira County.
