It is with deep sorrow, yet with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. Bob Harun Munoko on 6th June, 2025. Until his untimely demise, he was the Chief Compliance Officer at the Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman).
Bob Harun Munoko was the beloved son of Dr. Rev. Nathan Munoko and Mrs. Alice Munoko.
He was a devoted husband of Rolyne Mutie of Kahuho Uhuru High School, Nairobi, and a loving father of Nethan Bob and Alyssakate Bob of Channah Royal School, Nairobi.
Bob was a cherished brother of Milcah Munoko (United Nations, South Sudan), the late John Munoko, Wilberforce Munoko (Ironcrest Security Services, Nairobi), Mercy Munoko (Phamtech, Mombasa), Leah Munoko (Advocate, Kampala), Mirriam Munoko (Lawyer, Kakamega), Sharon Munoko (Cooperative Bank, Nairobi), and Shadon Munoko (Platinum Credit Heathens).
He was the son-in-law of the late Stephen Mutie and Mrs. Catherine Mulinge of Machakos; a brother-in-law of Caroline Wamalwa (Kisumu), Scholastica Wiero (Nairobi), George Mwenja (Mombasa), Sydney Nsubuga (Kampala), John Gikonyo, Maurice Mutuku (Machakos), Eunice Mutie (Safaricom, Nairobi), Festus Mutie (Beta Pack, Nairobi), Michael Masai (Kampala), and Sylvia Mutie (Nairobi).
He was a treasured uncle of Bill, Tessy, Wendy, Dunstan, Wisdom, Alicia, Mitchell, Travis, Ethan, Tumaini, Amani, Scotts, and Briana.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the All Saints Cathedral from 10.00am.
A fundraiser will take place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, 2025, followed by a burial ceremony at his home in Kapkoi Village, Waitaluk Ward, Trans Nzoia County, on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
